To celebration International Women’s Day, Google and Adweek present a special edition of the YouTube Ads Leaderboard devoted to the most-watched YouTube ads among women in 2016 with an empowering message.
There are several familiar women-focused brands on the list, from Procter & Gamble (the Always and Secret brands, as well as the corporate parent) to Unilever’s Dove and Vaseline brands. Several of the ads, however, connected with women and men—including Nike, Pokemon, and Momondo—showing that empowering messages connect with audiences at large.
